Chapter 697: A Fashion Curse

This is the investigation part of the crime where Chapter 696 left off. So we get to meet the friend of the victim, Shoudou Yuika, an office lady who agreed to meet the victim, Kuze Mihiro. There are also other revelations about the case like the broken glass that was supposed to have Mihiro-san's fingerprint. It was also investigated where the gothic lolita costume was bought and it's a newly released design and was just available for sale the previous day the crime happened.
And so when everything else is dark and gloomy, the case suddenly goes into light as Conan finally unlocks the alibi trick in this case.

Chapter 698: An Uncertain and Fragile Thing

The resolution part of the case. So it's really Shoudou Yuika who committed the crime and she did it out of revenge. She and Mihihiro are childhood friends and when they grew old, certain issues divided them apart. But as friends, when Shoudou was in a pinch, Mihihiro was the one who came to rescue. She gave her a job and offered her a house to live. in But it turns out, it was Mihihiro who caused such misfortunes to her friend.
The moral lesson of this case was pointed out by Sonoko when she mentioned that friendship must be uncertain and fragile as a glass so that the people inside the friendship circle can easily feel their love and warmth for each other.

Well, this is again a unique case - involving gothic lolitas in a crime scene. What I liked about this chapter is the thought shared to us by Sonoko. Again, it's all about friendship being fragile so that all parties can really feel the warmth and love that they have for each other. If a friendship is hard and compact as a wall, then how can the concern and feeling of each other be communicated?
Well, it's just another thought that we can reflect on.

Re-release of Hetalia One Coin figures by Kotobukiya now open for pre-order!

The Kotobukiya's cute chibi non-scale figures of characters from Axis Powers Hetalia are being re-released this coming August and are now open for pre-orders in Hobby Search.

These cute little figures are sold as a set of nine. The eight characters as shown in the photo above, and a secret character figure. Hobby Search strictly says that this item will be sold by a 1:1 set-buyer ratio -- probably preventing those who would buy in bulk to resell the figures individually.

Hobby Search is selling these for 5,814 yen. Approximately 61 USD. I think Italy's, China's and America's are the most adorable among all of them -- I would get them, but I doubt there would be people who would sell them cheap online ~_~;;

Naruto Shippudden - Episode 116

Still, Sasuke is one of the most handsome guys in the series.
He would always capture girl's attention and even use this charm to his advantage, which is exactly the very same thing that happened to Karin.

We another member to Sasuke's group, Karin! He is the warden in one of Orochimaru's prison and has a special ability to sense the presence of chakras even at a distance. What's so funny about her is that she one of the many girls that fell in love with Sasuke so she readily accepted the invitation to join and come with Sasuke. Her blushing face is really funny and her puny attempts to seduce Sasuke were all a failure. Knowing how cold Sasuke is and not to mention that he is not into those stuff, Karin's seductive moves didn't arouse any manly desire with Sasuke.
Anyway, next episode...the Eye of the Hawk will be finally completed.

Fullmetal Alchemist - Episode 13

Greed!
The cooooolest of all Homonculus!!!

The first episode of Greed's appearance and he is still freakinly awesome! I missed this guy. Can't really call him the villain but he is one of my most favorite characters of all time.

We finally meet my favorite Homonculus, Greed! Gosh, I love when he said that "I am Greed, I am greedy!" He sounds so much greedy. Hahaha. Of course, what is FMA without all the funny and crack moments that would spurt out every now and then. For this time, we credit the crack moments to Greed, to Izumi and to Ed and Al for adding the crazy factor in the episode.

We also get to have a little lecture with Ed as he explains to Greed something about atom structure and a little Chemistry. Ed is really talented when it comes to science and alchemy. He get to think quickly and was able to counter Greed's absolute defense.

So I got another reason why I love the re-adaption as compared to the first one. It's all because of Greed. Greed's complete form looks much better and cooler this time.

Another highlight of the episode is Roy's transfer to Central and he requested that he will be transferring together with his staff and he won't accept any complaints. But our dear Havoc found a girlfriend and is reluctant to leave. Roy's order is: BREAK UP WITH HER!!! Hahaha. Roy's so mean but I like him right now. Even if Hughes is dead, he still able to pull a little crack as compared to the previous season where he completely changed to his serious side after the death.

So next episode, would be the rescue of Al from Greed. I am looking forward to their confrontation where Ed will learn the secret about the weakness of the Homunculus.

Valkyria Chronicles 11-13

A very special Valkyria Chronicles Episode....Still Faldio-centric as usual.

I am warning you, as early as now that I am not posting any episode summary as I am only focusing my attention to the cutest and most handsome man in the series, FALDIO!!!!!!

Anyway, I've got to see three different and lovable sides of Faldio and I am liking him much, much, much, much more!

Episode 11:

Military Faldio

We get to see the military Faldio. He is wearing his military uniform as he receives his award from Princess Cordelia along with Welkin. So clap, clap, clap, clap for Faldio!!! I am so proud for him!!! Hahaha. And did I mention that he looks good on his uniform? He does right???right????

Episode 12:

Manly Faldio

For this episode, we will be meeting Faldio, a real man! Gosh he sounded so manly when he said to Welkin "What will you do if I said that I like Alicia?" Welkin is so stunned when he heard it and Faldio walked away, leaving his friend in a state of a big big shock.

Episode 13:

Casual Faldio

This is my favorite..... Faldio wearing his casual clothes. Though they are in a mission to infiltrate, Squads 1 and 7 are in their normal clothing to be able to sneak into the city without arousing any suspicion. And I've got to stay that Faldio is the most handsome guy in their group, all biases aside. He is wearing blue polo inside and a light brown jacket. Wow, it was only then that I realized that brown and blue can blend and can be perfect partners. Oh Faldio, everything you wear looks so good on you. Haayyyy...

Sasuke now heading fast to Konoha stumbles to meet Tobi (wearing his mask again) and reveals a lot of things:

• That the 8-tails that Sasuke caught was a fake. A last minute trick was made and Sasuke realized it just now. But Tobi is not interested with that right now, he wants Sasuke to go and assassinate the 5 Kages who will be having their meeting;
• That Konoha suffered a great damage because of Pain's attack;
• Naruto was the one who defeated Pain; and
• that Danzou is the new Kage of Konoha

Anyway.......Sasuke is now heading to the 5 Kages' meeting to set out and kill them all while Tobi and Tetsu are planning something about the Eye of the Moon plan.

Meanwhile, Gaara leaves Suna for the 5 Kages' meeting.

Chapter 454: The 5 Kages
This is just a chapter showing the 5 kages leaving their villages to attend the meeting. There's also a little bit about Naruto still protecting Sasuke and not selling him out to Karui and remembers the lesson he learned from Pain about revenge and its destructive chain. Naruto gets beat up by them while Sai is in the shadow watching.
Danzou, on the other hand is in Kage's costume and orders his ANBU to capture Kabuto to get hold of Orochimaru's research records which he says will be useful for his right arm and eye.
Anyway, let us all meet the 5 kages of the 5 hidden villages. We have met the two of them and now we get to meet the other 3:

The classic lovestory of Romeo and Juliet comes alive in the form of anime. Though they are changes in the original story like the presence of Willie (as in William Shakespeare!) and some gliches in the animation quality, the love story element that it has hasn't change. The tragedy of love between Romeo and Juliet would still excite you and when they are finally together as a couple, you would also feel relieve and happy for them.
Romeo x Juliet has also proved useful in terms of education. When my sister was studying classic literature and that includes Romeo and Juliet, she rewatched some parts that would help her remember and appreciate the story. It is also there that we got the interpreation of the infamous line Romeo, Romeo where art thou Romeo?".
And so if you like love stories, it is highly recommended that you back to the mother of all love stories and be in love with the star-crossed lovers.
