This episode still managed to be funny despite of the upcoming problem that the Elric brothers need to face. Again, funny moments are courtesy of Hughes who loves to call Roy about his daughter and wife and to convince Roy to hurry up and get married.
Anyway, the episode about the Research Laboratory 5 has a lighter mood as compared to the previous adaptation of the series. They somehow managed to add a little comedy without deviating from the current plot. Because of this, it's much easier to watch. I can say that this is the best interpretation of the Research Laboratory 5 since I have seen the previous and the PS2 version of it. While the previous ones are generally good, I would still prefer this new one.
So next episode would be more Ed and Al bonding moments as their relationship as siblings is put into big test. And, Winry has finally arrive after two long episodes. Looking forward to next week!
