Not much of my usual Usui-full episode today because we get to meet the band members of a popular Indie group, Umemeshi.
But even so, those oh so short Usui moments made my week so complete. I am again recharged to be busy for the whole week.
So, speaking of Umemeshi, let me first introduce to you the band members. Now, I didn't thought that their hair colors will be this extreme but it's just fine since they are classified as an indie rock band.

If you remember 8th episode, Umemeshi already made their small appearance but I guess this is their debut. Sakura is really head over heels with this band and is madly in love with Kuuga. Normally, she brings Shizuko to their gigs and concerts and that is where she got hit by Cupid's arrow. After one concert, Kuuga throws her a white rose and gave off a very sweet smile, and that captured her heart.
Being madly in love, Sakura invites Misa-chan to come with her with a meet up session with the band. Shizuko will also be tagging along even though she hates boy bands.
Usui gets to know about this meet up after visiting Misa-chan at the Student Council Room. Usui goes into his serious and possessive mode as he interrogates Misa-chan about the people they will meet. He is obvious that he is SO CONCERNED about Misa meeting other guys but he can't do anything after Misa-chan told her that she is doing this for Sakura.
Umemeshi members are acutally students from Yumesaki High and is already quite popular to those who are into indie world. They meet on the Sun Vaca Cafe (this is pun..in Japanese Moron Trio is san baka. San is three and baka is idiot/moron), and incidentally, this is the cafe where the Moron Trio are having a part time job to save enough money to enjoy a full meal at Maid Latte and eventually, challenge Misa-chan for another game.
Sakura gets really into her fangirl mode as she gets to meet all the band members. Shizuka goes into her oblivious mode and is planning to ignore everything that will happen. Misa-chan, however seems to be so shocked with what's happening. Sakura is really a huge fan of the group and she is badly in love with Kuuga.
But unfortunately for her, the boys are just there as a fanservice and Kuuga doesn't like Sakura at all. He just wants to use Sakura so that their fan base will grow bigger and larger. However, he has taken an interest over Misa-chan and this is overheard by the Moron Trio.
Kuuga tries to make his moves to Misa-chan but Usui came on a perfect, boyfriendly timing. He strips off the uniform of one of the Moron Trio and stops Kuuga from touching Misa-chan any longer. He posed in as a waiter and is ready to take their orders anytime. Kuuga asked Misa-chan who is the guy who just came and Misa-chan answered vaguely that he is a stalker but he is really not. Usui teases Misa-chan who is he, then but Misa-chan is already blushing.
On a serious mode, Usui tells Misa-chan that sometimes he, too, gets annoyed and that he could be very possessive. Misa-chan tells him what is really happening and to comfort Misa-chan, Usui pats him on the head and that act made Misa-chan feel Usui's concern for her. (Awwwwwwww......♥)
Kuuga then asks Sakura to persuade Misa-chan to come to their concert or even go out and go on a amusement park. Kuuga is obviously just playing with Sakura's feelings. Sakura eventually cried, unable to bear his interest in Misaki and pointed taunts at her. Because of this, Misa-chan gets really annoyed and yanked Kuuga's tie telling him that she will never, ever, ever, hand over Sakura to a guy just like him.
After that, Shizuko had her chance of scolding Misa and Sakura about what happened especially that she has to sit through everything that has happened. She scolds Sakura to choose guys more properly and this upsets her so much. Misa-chan comforts her by also tapping her head after remembering the smoothing feeling when Usui did that to her. And without a doubt, Sakura gets relieved and says that next time, she will choose a guy who will pat her like that.
On her way home, Usui actually waiting for Misa-chan at the train station. He really waited for a long time but that doesn't matter as he greeted Misa-chan with the sweetest of his smile. Misa remembers the pat on the head and touches the spot where Usui's hands landed. She blushes as she remembers what happened and Usui wonders if there is something wrong with her head. And since Usui is a stalker, he will just stalk Misa-chan until she gets home.
Back at the cafe, the other band members scold Kuuga for his rude actions while the Moron Trio is so agitated and requests for the band to leave right now.
