Unlike the second movie, this movie has no Sasuke or no Kyuubi related plot. This time, we shall see more about the Team Kakashi's bond as a team and how they valued their relationship with each other, especially with Kakashi. While this plot is not really my most favorite of all the Naruto movies I have ever watched, this movie has showed me a lot of old moments that I have been missing in Naruto.

For starters, this movie featured a Gaara and Naruto fight. Gaara is also included in this plot. Gaara is one of the many people who stopped Naruto from running after Kakashi. They faced with each other in an attempt to make the other understand their own feelings and sentiments. In the end, as every protagonist would do, Naruto was able to proceed after he made Gaara understand how he really feels about Kakashi's plan of sacrificing himself. Along with Jiraiya, he also bets on Naruto's strength and potential to solve this issue.

Another thing that I like is that all of the Konoha ninjas the we all love and like come together as one and had the chance to show off what they can do. Ordered by Tsunade to stop Naruto and Sakura, everybody was called with Shikamaru as their team captain. From Tenten to Kiba, Lee to Neji, Shino and Hinata, you can see in the last part of the movie their signature moves, which later on killed a very huge summoned monster. It is only in very rare opportunities that everybody was given a chance to appear and to work with everybody else.

Remember the "king" that Asuma said before he died previously? This movie reveals who are the "king" that he died protecting. The "king" refers to the children, which owuld constitute the future of Konoha. Asuma valued them because they will be the next generation who will live on Konoha. From them you can get the next Hokage, the next jounin and chuunin who will lead their village to prosperity. Asuma passed on his will to Shikamaru, who swore that he will be protecting these "kings" with all of his might.

The finale of this movie is the use of Naruto's Shuriken Rasengan which ended the the life of Hiruko.

If you are to ask me, I would prefer to have Sasuke be a part of the Konoha group who completed this movie. If Sasuke was there, then I think they will have a better hand when fighting Hiruko. Or much better, Sasuke should be the one targetted by Hiruko. After all, their past and their twisted character perfectly fits with each other. With this, I think there will be more tension because definitely, Naruto will get more pumped as he again uses this chance to get his beloved friend back.
