Still in line with celebrating the anniversary of Code Geass, I bring you one of the bands who sang for the series, Flow.
Flow is a J-Rock band and is a part of Sony Music Japan's Ki/oon Records label. The band consists of 2 vocalists, a drummer, a bassist and a guitarist. Flow was founded in 1993 by brothers Koushi Asakawa (vocals) and Takeshi Asakawa (guitar) when they began playing together. It was in 1998 when they were eventually joined by Keigo Hayashi (vocals), Yasutarou Gotou (bass) and Hiroshi Iwasaki (drums).
As of Spring 2009, they have already released 22 singles and 5 albums. In 2001, they released its first maxi single, Flow#0.
Other notable singles include Go!!! and Re:member that both served as OP themes to the anime series Naruto. The single Days was the first OP for the anime Eureka Seven and Realize was the OP for the Ps2 game of the same series. In 2006, they sang the first OP for the series Code Geass which was Colors while they sang the song Answer for the J-Drama Tantei Gakuen Q. For the second season of Code Geass, they sang the second OP theme, World End.

Flow has been one of the very successful J-Rock bands I have ever known. Their upbeat music makes me wanna listen to them. Rock is not really my genre but I am giving an exception just for this group.
Thank you! I feel Flow definitely deserves a bit of recognition. Their unusual but catchy sound caught my attention in Eureka Seven, and when I noticed their style again in Code Geass, my brother and I just had to check out their other albums. So far, I'm enjoying 'em! =)
