Episode 7: It's the Looks. I am about to drop Cross Game because of the slow development of the story but this episode has somehow changed my mind. Coach Daimon of the main baseball team borrowed Aoba from the middle school as a practice pitcher for his team. Kou and the others knew about this and decided to watch what will happen. Aoba is a great pitcher, throwing balls at a very fast pace. But she was so tired and exhausted because Daimon asked her to pitch until she falls.
Personally, I would want to have the main team's butt be kicked because of their arrogance and attitude. Sure they may have the talent, but the heart to play baseball...it's something that they totally lack.
