Sebby is really pissed at this moment in time, so let's not bother him and allow him to cool himself down, so I shall be focusing on Claude for now.
But I wanna say for the record, that I love Claude as a rival character but I personally HATE HIM at this point in the story. When I first read the summary, I am really bothered THE WHOLE DAY and I really opted to post this at this late time in the week because I am really shocked about what Claude did.
Claude, you sly demon. :|
First, I got to say that it's official. Alois Trancy is dead. And now, Claude is technically masterless and so he is trying out different career paths.
1. Game Show Host!
Question: Dearest esoteric comrades of darkness, here is the soul of Alois Trancy. Now then, what shall I do with this soul?
A. Eat it.
B. Wear the ring
C. The decorations have been altered.
2. Tap dancer/performer
3. Crocheting
4. Psychologist
5. But in the end, he opted to return to his old job of being a butler.
Anyway, Claude's true intention is revealed in this episode. His real catchphrase as a butler:
To turn deep gold into deep blue, deep blue into midnight blue, and...Alois Trancy to Ciel Phantomhive - that is to be one hell of a butler. So yes, Claude managed to combine the memories of Ciel and Alois by simpling drugging Ciel and making him wear Alois ring. Because of their similar pasts, their memories are combined and so Ciel's messed up memory is again messed up. So here's how Claude started his operation as he posed as a psychologist and interviewed the drugged Ciel.
Ciel: I am Ciel Phantomhive...the Queen's Watchdog. I have lost my father and mother.
Claude: Why have you lost them?
Ciel: Because the mansion was burned...
Claude: Yes. It was burned. The town that you were raised, that is.
Ciel: I ran through the corridor...
Claude: Yes, you ran. On the road by the outskirts, that is.
Claude: inserts Alois' ring to Ciel's finger.
Claude: *while playing with his glasses* You have run and found something.
Ciel: I found my dead father and mother.
Claude: Yes, you have found him. Your dead little brother, that is.
Ciel: My little brother?
Claude: What happened after you found him?
Ciel: What...Old men...
Claude: Yes, an old man. *Ciel taking the place of Alois as being harassed by Earl Trancy* humiliated me.
Claude: Earl Trancy, that is.
Ciel: Tran...-cy
Claude: Yes.
Ciel: I have formed a contract with Sebastian.
Claude: Someone formed a contract with Sebastian, and he brought about a fire.
Ciel: A fire?
Claude: Yes. Sebastian contracted with your little brother Luca and burned the town.
Ciel: Luca...burned the town?
Claude: Yes. Sebastian Michaelis contracted with Luca and took your only blood relative.
Ciel: Blood relative...
Ciel: AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!From then on, the memory is already combined and thus, Sebastian is now the new culprit who killed Ciel's relative. But I wonder if Claude is telling the truth that Luca contracted with Sebby so that Jim's wish can come true?
While his bocchan is in trouble, Sebby is busy facing three different opponents:
Ronald Knox, a shinigami and Grell's kouhai.
William is back!!
And of course, Hannah who is apparently keeping a gun inside her boobies. :|
When Sebastian realized the plan, he is too late as Ciel now thinks that he is the person that he should extract revenge. It is also seen that his contract with Sebastian is still there, and so as suggested by Claude, Ciel said the most hurtful thing he can say to Sebby, I order you, vanish from my sight! And as his master order is absolute, Sebby has no choice but to obey.
He is calm as he walked away and even bowed down to Ciel. As he walks out of the house and before the episode ends, Sebby says:
It seems that I had taken too much time to prepare dinner. And this has been the consequence.
*Sebby transforms to his real demon look*
Dinner may not be late.
But prior to that, as a Phantomhive butler, I must rid the place of spider webs...death.In the first parts of the episode, also, it is interesting to point out that Ciel's memories are returning. Images of Angela of Season 1 is being shown. Also, when he hid the box, as suggested by Sebastian, Ciel gets the weird feeling of being inside the box.
Epilogue shows that Ciel and Claude went home to Trancy's household, I assume and Claude ordered Hannah to prepare a hot bath as he calls Ciel for the first time, bocchan. WAAHHHH!!!!!
"Betraying one's orders is disloyal, destroying one's master is immoral; such an disloyal and immoral person, how could one possibly use him!" - Zhuge Liang
ReplyDeleteThat sums up my thoughts on Claude, contrasting Sebby as the *WORST* butler <_<
I eagerly await when Sebby kills him
@Aorii
ReplyDeleteOh yes! I can't wait as well. Claude needs to be trained to become a decent butler......
Can't wait for Episode 10.
Me too, I can't wait 4 Sebby 2 kill him -_-
ReplyDelete@Agonized Vamp
ReplyDeleteLet's all wait together!
Oh Claude, why did you that?! ;|
Claude will get his. Sebby will clean things up for sure...
ReplyDelete@Bastiansmagic
ReplyDeleteYeah, I totally agree with you :)
@xtine06
ReplyDeleteI also think Mey-Rin could wipe the floor with Hannah if a match of maids should have come up. That could have been fun to watch. I also see Sebby and Mey-Rin in some stress relief together. I just think those two should hook up. But Claude will not stand in the way of a contract.
@Bastiansmagic
ReplyDeleteYEAH. Maid showdown?!?! Oh, Hannah will definitely loose to Meirin :)
It was a thought I had. Claude is similar to Sebastian. He has a maid (Hannah) working with him who can handle a gun. Sebastian has a maid (Meirin) working with him who can also handle a gun. I can just picture Meirin working more closely with Sebastian in that regard. That being said, Couldn't you picture Sebastian saying to Meirin something like, "Take care of her." And it would give Meirin the opportunity to be near Sebastian more, since she practically drools for him anyway :)
ReplyDelete@Bastiansmagic
ReplyDeleteOOOHHH. Nice analysis you've got there. HAHAHAHA. Now I want that scene :))
:)
ReplyDeleteThere's a few dark scenarios I can picture... :))
This series is getting good :D!
ReplyDelete@Bastiansmagic
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA.
@edwardelricfan
I know right? It's so good that I can't wait to watch it!!!! :D
I have to say, the manga is equally good...a very enjoyable read.
ReplyDelete@Bastiansmagic
