An episode focused on Sawa-chan and the Death Devil band. And yeah, they are really in heavy metal but what makes it interesting for me is the very sweet and cute lyrics despite the loud music.
Sawa-chan has really become so popular with the first years of the school and she has been so beat up because of this popularity. She is also strives to protect her innocent look and impression and that is why, she refuses to go back to the previous heavy metal life.
The K-ON girls have been stalking Sawa-chan after school and it seems to them that Sawa-chan has her new boyfriend (Well, Yui thinks that it's her mother!) but in reality, it was just Catherine who asks for Sawa-chan to play on one of their former bandmate's wedding celebration. Afraid that her innocent reputation will be damaged, Sawa-chan refuses so Catherine asks for the help of the girls to convince Sawako to play once again.
The next day it is a self-study class for their English and the girls used this as an opportunity to pass notes and think of ideas on how they can convince Sawa-chan. They got kicked out eventually, much to Mugi's happiness since this is her dream come true but I think, they used this opportunity to talk together and brain storm. They thought of just asking Sawa-chan directly because if they can't convince Sawa-chan, Catherine threatens them to endure a strict training with her.
Of course, they failed to ask her after seeing her talking with some underclassmen. The day of the wedding came and Sawa-chan arrived and apologized because she cannot play as requested. But hey, there's a surprise when Death Devil gets on stage to perform.
It's Afterschool Tea Time + Death Devil!! But Yui is so klutz and kept on messing on her notes and so they appeared to be so cute and adorable in front of the audience. This upsets Sawa-chan and awakens her Death Devil self as she gets on stage and performs just like how Death Devil does it. They sang their song entitled Love. Below is the video of the song:
While playing, memories of her very own K-ON days kept flashing back.
The next day, she is shocked to see that she is still popular even though she became wild last night. Students still love and like Sawako-sensei for whoever she is.
