If you are a drummer and you feel kinda lonely, then Yui-chan has a very brilliant idea for you!

Again, episode 3 of K-ON didn't failed to make me laugh. I have to say that each new episode of K-ON!! is getting better and better and it is slowly picking up the laughing atmosphere it left off in the first season.

For this episode, we focus on Ritsu and her guitar playing. Ritsu is going through their performances and she has noticed something very important! Her position as the drummer doesn't permit her to shine and be reached by the light. Her legs and her forehead are the only body parts that gets to be lighted. With this, she declares that she doesn't want to play the drums anymore and would want to migrate on a new instrument.

First on her list is Gitah. Yui cried because Gitah is cheating on her but hey, it was her idea for Ritsu to try on playing a guitar. Ritsu looks cool with the guitar but when she tried to play it, it wasn't just for her. The changing of chords and the manner on how a guitar is played is tiring her out. You have to remember the chords and at the same time strum the strings to produce the sounds. And so with this, Gitah is crossed from the list.

Next is Mugi-chan's keyboard. Though it appears to be an easy instrument to use, all Ritsu can do is to make it talk, much to Mugi-chan's amusement. With Ritsu playing, it can say Mugi-chan's name or say funny phrases such as "That's fine". I don't exactly get how they decipher the sounds but if that's how they feel it, then I'm fine with that. Hahaha.

Mio's bass is off-limits for Ritsu because of the sentimental meaning of the bass for Mio. It perfectly suits her character. Someone who doesn't want to stand out but is essential for supporting the song. It's deep and low sound is sometimes unnoticed but without it, a song will be incomplete with the bass. Personally, I am in love with the bass all because of the same reason. I love that it has an important role to play but it doesn't need to stand out.

Well, since Ritsu cannot choose her new instrument, Yui-chan has an idea! She thought that Ritsu is getting lonely at the back so she stressed the need for COMMUNICATION while playing. And that solution is the GIF image I placed above. She also wore an engineer's headgear with spot light to address the darkness of Ritsu's side. But unfortunately, all of these ideas are not of much help.

Ritsu then remembered how she started to love the drums and watched her idol guitarist, Keith Moon. Keith is the drummer of the band The Who and he is the one responsible why Ritsu fell in love with the guitar. Because of this, she had her mind cleared up and even if she cannot be on the spotlight, she doesn't mind anymore. The fun of playing the drums is more than enough that's why she decided that the drums is only for her.

The greatest accomplishment of this episode is the announcement of their new song entitled "Honey Sweet Tea Time". The lyrics is still in the works but the melody is already ready. This time it's Mugi-chan's composition and it's a possible solo vocal performance for her.

Next episode is their Kyoto trip! Tanoshimiii :)
