Episode 51: Immortal Army

I do respect the poor souls attached to those mannequins but honestly, they are really gross. They eat people and they can even eat themselves. They didn't want such thing to happen to them, but unfortunately they got caught up Father's business.

From what we ended in Episode 50, the Immortal Army got activated and if you think that they are only few, then you are wrong! They are so, so, so, so, many. And another thing, they are zombies who are mindless and are kinda persistent to stay alive. They fed on the general that activated them and also the scientist who is part of the experiment.

Ed and his group arrived inside the undergrounds of the Third Laboratory and they encounter a very huge door. While Ed is trying to open the door, the Immortal Army flooded the door and they are suddenly swarmed by them. Ed recognizes them as dolls infused with souls similar to what was inside Envy's true form. Worried that they will get out on the village and start eating people, Ed sealed the gate to prevent such horrifying thing to happen. However, doing such act traps them inside along with immortal dolls.

We go back to Olivier and Sloth showdown. Olivier tries shooting the big Sloth but unfortunately, this doesn't give any damage to the big guy. Situation gets harder when a group of soldiers appear with a shoot if sight order. However, the soldier groups gets astonished by his presence and they were accidentally attacked by his chains when Olivier dodged him. Using a grenade from one of the soldiers, she threw it at Sloth, hoping to give even a small damage. Unfortunately, such a thing would not hurt him. From the explosion, Heinkel is badly injured and before Al could reach him, Pride restrained him with his shadows. With quick thinking, Al makes an explosion and by removing his legs, he was able to run away from Pride and the explosion bought him more time to talk to Heinkel. The injured chimera wants Al to save himself and leave him but Al refuses to do such. Even though he lost his legs, he tries to drag Heinkel to safety. 1. I found the whole see-hear-speak no evil thing amusing. Also, the poor scientist, he was just THERE.
May battling mannequins was cool; I liked how she managed to keep Envy on her head. To tell the truth, I am happy he is back.

I cannot wait to see Al use that stone!!! Ed always gets the attention; it is Al's turn now :D

  2. Me to, Envy's back and he is my 2nd favorite homonculus next to Greed.

That final scene where Al's eye is glowing with red because of the stone, he looks REALLY REALLY REALLY cool. It's like saying, come get me....

I can't wait to catch up. I have few episodes left!!!! :D
