Kuroshitsuji 2 - Episode 1

Episode 1: Black Butler

This is really good!! As in! Everyone, welcome back Ciel Phantomhive and Sebastian Michaels! I had prepared myself to watch this without the presence of the two but I am really so surprised to see them back! Waaaah! =)

After watching, I really can't help to look forward for more Sebastian and Claude showdown, the battle of the butlers. And of course, I am rooting for Sebastian!!!

Let me introduce the new characters (though you might know them based from spoilers), as revealed by Episode 1:

Alois Trancy

I first thought that he is a she but apparently, he is really he. Anyway, he shares a similar background with Ciel, in a sense that he is also went through something bad as a child. His contract with Claude can found on his tongue.

His personality depends with who is he with. If with Claude, he seems to be attached to him especially that he is afraid of being alone and afraid of the dark. In terms with his servants, he is so cruel to them.

He can also fake a sweet and innocent look and then later on, he can become really evil. This is evident when he was visited by his uncle. He give him the sweetest of all smiles and towards the end of the visit, he became a really naughty boy and threw all the land titles and bank notes to him, as desired by the uncle.

According to the uncle, Alois was kidnapped after he was born. His mother died out of depression and his father set out all over the place to find him. The father died due to a plague and it seems to be suspicious for him to have Alois alive and well, plus, he has a black butler with him. According to Alois' story, he didn't know the village he stayed nor how long he was there. All he know was that the villagers suddenly died, including his and only friend. Ever since then, he feared being alone.

It also appears that he wants to have Ciel and knows about Ciel.

Claude Faustus

He is the new butler in the new season of Kuroshitsuji. Before the contract with Alois, he is seen to be in a form of a spider, as compared to Sebastian who takes the form of a cat. Nothing much was revealed about Claude, except that he is so similar to Sebastian in terms of loyalty to his master. He called Alois "Your Majesty" or "Master".

Claude is also knowledgeable about many things, including tap dancing, dinner knife throwing and plate throwing. He likes to say the line "I will turn the day into night, sugar into salt, saints into corpses, and dark blue into gold."

He seems to know Sebastian but skill wise, Sebastian has an advantage over him. Sebastian mocked him after leaving a drop of sauce on the plate and in their showdown, Claude was defeated after Sebastian said that he will turn gold to black.

Hannah 

The poor maid of the Trancy manor who is always the subject of Alois' cruelty. Her eyes were gouged by Alois after establishing eye contact with him. Claude, apparently told the other servants not to have eye contact with their Master.

Because of this, Hannah is always seen to be terrified by Alois' presence. Poor maid :(

The Return of Ciel and Sebastian

Contrary to the spoilers and trailers that circulated about Kuroshitsuji 2, Episode 1 confirms that the original characters of the series returned. Sebastian first appeared to be a man in trench coat with a suitcase, who took shelter in the Trancy manor after being caught in the storm.

Alois took him in and gave him food and a room to stay. Sebastian's real purpose of coming in was to retrieve Ciel's ring that was hidden in the wine cellar. Also, inside his suitcase is the body of Ciel. He didn't let Ciel be touched by Alois because according to him, Ciel will be sullied if touched by a trash like him. 

Claude and Sebastian had a little showdown in which, Sebastian won without any difficulty. He was able to escape the manor and go the woods.

In there, he opened the suitcase, took Ciel out and gave him the ring. The episode actually ended with him saying "Well Bocchan, it's time to get up". 

For the first episode, his usual catchphrase was not yet said as he said that it is too early.

Preview shows Ciel's back as well as the old characters. I do hope that this not just a flashback and explanations about what happened will be revealed.

But whatever it is, I am so excited to see it!!!

Kaichou Wa Maid-sama - Episode 13

As much I want to post about Kuroshitsuji right now, Usui love comes first.

Why? The answer's simple...Episode 13 revealed Usui's look if he decides to become a delinquent, and what do you know, HE IS STILL GOOD LOOKING :)

This is yet another side story animated, and I can say that they did a good job on this. This story focused more on the Moron Trio's past lives before going to Seika High.

Let me introduce Aratake, Shiro-yan's kouhai in his glory days as a delinquent at Seisen Middle School. Currently, he is the top delinquent at school and has always followed Shiro-yan's footsteps. Aratake has been saved by Shiro-yan from bullies because he is still weak at that time. He is a crybaby but found coolness in Shiro-yan's attitude. Shiro-yan was then called the "Tornado White Demon".

But the path of the two will once again meet and this time, Yukimura will be tied with it. At that day, Yukimura was asked to cross dress and pretend to be the girl friend of someone from the Student Council. Yukimura didn't agree of course but he still wore the dress and ran outside the school. He asked for the help of the Moron Trio to get his clothes inside the school, in fear of letting anyone else see him. But without them knowing, Aratake is there misunderstands that Yukimura is Shiro-yan's girl.

Aratake kidnapped Yukimura to draw Shiro-yan out. The trio inform Misa-chan about this, and immediately they set out to rescue Yukimura. They went to Seisen High School and they found out about Aratake's story through Aoi-chan who also studies in that school. However, they are unable to pinpoint Aratake's hideout and Aoi chan had a good idea.

They pretended that they are filming a movie about delinquents so that they can enter the hideout without raising any suspicion. Eventually, they managed to enter and they found Aratake at a room, which brings back memories for Shiro-yan and Ryuunusuke. Aratake and Shiro-yan had a conversational fight, a way for them to reconnect with each other after being separated after a long time.

Aratake is still a cry baby after all this years and just wants to be a hero, similar to how he views Shiro-yan before. The misunderstand was cleared and the Moron Trio even introduced Misa-chan as their Maid President. Ikkun also had a little tantrum, being jealous that Shiro-yan is now hanging out with the bandana guy. However, this is was easily resolved as the Moron Trio had the same goal of defeating Misa-chan and had their picture taken.

Unfortunately, all's well ends well for everyone except for Yukimura who was forgotten by everyone. Too bad for him :|
